All turned out to be false alarms amid fears that hysteria might be taking hold after terror alerts. Bomb alerts led to the closure of Rome's A line twice Thursday. The line was closed between Ottaviano and Battistini after a suspicious package was found in a carriage at Cornelia station. Earlier, the C line was closed between the stations of Torrenova and Grotte Celoni after two suspicious freezer bags were spotted, but it turned out to be a false alrm - like another case on line A earlier in the day.
